Asanti By Koi began long before I knew it would become a jewelry brand.

In 2013, I lost my mother, a woman whose love shaped so much of who I am. Seven months before she passed, I had given birth to my first child, my daughter Asanti.

Her name was inspired by the Swahili word Asante, meaning thank you.

In one year, I experienced both an extraordinary beginning and an unimaginable loss.

For years, I kept moving.

Then the world slowed down during COVID, and for the first time, I had to sit with everything I had been carrying.

During that season, I became intentional about the words I spoke over my life. Affirmations became small reminders I could return to when I needed to reconnect with myself, my strength, and what I believed.

Eventually, I wanted to carry those words with me.

So I began putting them on jewelry.

What started as something personal slowly became something I knew I wanted to share.

Jewelry became a reminder.
The reminder became a practice.
And the practice became Asanti By Koi.

As the brand grew, so did my vision for what Asanti By Koi could be.

Today, our collections extend beyond affirmations into symbols, cultural pieces, angel numbers, zodiac jewelry, and timeless essentials made simply because they are beautiful to wear.

Some pieces may remind you of who you are.
Some may connect you to where you come from.
Some may represent who you're becoming.

And some may simply make you feel beautiful.
